AAHA

ANVH GETS AAHA ACCREDITATION

As of December, 2006 we are now fully accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association.  This is a major achievement as only 14% of all veterinary hospitals in the U.S.  pass.  It requires a lot of self-inspection into our protocols for medicine, surgery, nursing, radiology, management and more.  An examiner spends an entire day at our hospital, watching our methods, checking our records, viewing our xrays, and questioning staff.  All improvements that we have instituted reflect back to you, our owners, and to your pets. Just as human hospitals must pass a number of different categories, so must we. Very few veterinary hospitals make the effort to try to achieve this goal. We are very proud of our staff and the effort they put into this accomplishment, making changes willingly and making suggestions for improving patient care. Our accreditation (which, by the way, is our third time) is now good for 3 more years. We’re thrilled! Congratulations to all of us.  ANVH continues to be an American Animal Hospital Association hospital.
